NHS Charities meeting the Long Term Plan

We are proud to announce that we launched our new rebrand at NHS Health and Care Innovation Expo at the beginning of this month and are now ready to share with the world. Formerly known as the Association of NHS Charities we are now officially known as NHS Charities Together!

We hosted an exhibition stand at NHS Expo across the 2 day event where lots of people from NHS Trusts found out about their NHS Charity and vice versa. We met loads of people doing innovative work within the healthcare industry and the movers and shakers of the NHS. In true NHS Charities style we then hosted a fully booked Big Tea Party to help spread the word on the great work of NHS Charities Together. Many thanks to the The Royal Free Charity for talking about the volunteer programme in GP practices, Imperial Health Charity for their reducing knife crime in A&E, and Nottingham University Hospitals Charity for their nurse investment and development presentations.

Did you know that NHS Charities help to meet all strands of the NHS Long Term Plan? We’ve highlighted some amazing member case studies in our new brochure to help illustrate this. You can view our new NHS Charities Together brochure here.

Challenge: How is your NHS Trust working with your NHS Charity?
