Improving care for patients
We're supporting better patient experiences by funding the initiatives and innovations needed to improve care and make healthcare spaces feel like welcoming environments.

We believe that everyone should have access to the best possible treatment, but as more of us live longer with complex health conditions, the NHS is becoming increasingly overstretched. Long waiting lists mean that patients don’t always get the care they need when they need it.
Having easy access to the best possible treatment and a good experience as a patient can have a huge impact on how fast you recover and your long-term health. It also helps to ease the burden that falls on families and those around you. That’s why, with the help of our supporters, we’re focused on transforming patient care and experiences across the NHS - making care easier to access and ensuring everyone feels supported from when they first seek help, to getting treatment and beyond.

The Path of Positivity
The Path of Positivity is an outdoor green space that we funded through the Urgent Covid Appeal at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital. The once disused space was repurposed, and includes an accessible pathway that gives patients and their families a much-needed escape from the hospital environment during their recovery.
In March 2024, father-of-two Kris suffered an unexpected injury that resulted in weeks spent in hospital. To help with his recovery, he spent time at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital where he began to learn to walk again, as well as spend some much-needed time with his family thanks to The Path of Positivity.
