Running to say thank you to the NHS
Jessica and her brother are running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April 2026 in support of NHS Charities Together. Their fundraising is inspired by the care and compassion their family received from NHS staff during some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
Jessica's story
“In April 2026, my brother and I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in London, and I will be doing this in aid of NHS Charities.
"As many people know, both my mum and dad have passed away, and without the incredible support of the NHS, myself, my brother and all our friends wouldn’t have been able to say goodbye to our mum, or have the support after my dad passed.
The intensive care NHS staff who looked after us were just brilliant -caring, and truly made the most awful experience in life slightly more bearable, so this truly is a charity I would love your help to raise money for. Thank you all. ”
