Help us be there for generations to come

Your Will may be one of the most important documents you ever write. It’s a way to make sure that the right people get whatever you decide to leave them. And, once family and friends have been looked after, it’s a wonderful way to support a charity that’s close to your heart.

If you’re able to leave a gift in your Will to us or to any NHS charity, we would be incredibly grateful. Your forever thank you will help the NHS thrive and change the lives of patients and staff for years to come.

Frequently asked questions

To include us in your Will please use our charity name, address and registered charity numbers, which will ensure your gift reaches us in the future.

Registered charity name: NHS Charities Together

Address: Suite 68, Lake View House, Wilton Drive, Warwick, CV34 6RG

Registered charity number: 1186569 (England & Wales) and SC050716 (Scotland)

There are three main types of gifts you can leave in your Will:

  1. A share of your estate. This is a percentage of your estate after all other gifts and expenses have been paid. You can choose what size of the percentage you wish to leave.

  2. A specific sum. This is a fixed amount of money which you set aside. This is paid out before the residue of your estate is calculated.

  3. A specific gift. This is a particular valuable item, such as property, shares or jewellery.

Any gifts left to charities are exempt from Inheritance Tax. On top of that, sometimes by including a gift to a charity you can reduce the tax on everything else you leave behind. But Inheritance Tax is a complex and often changing area of law, so we advise you visit www.gov.uk/inheritance-tax for all the latest information and speak to a professional.

Your forever thank you will make a huge difference for NHS staff, patients and communities.

Thanks to amazing supporters like you, we have funded hundreds of projects across the UK to help the NHS thrive. We’re there for exhausted NHS staff to help them through the hardest moments. And we’re pushing patient care further to transform lives, as well as supporting community volunteers to make a difference in emergency situations.

With your support we can continue to do this and make sure absolutely everyone has access to the health and care they need, whenever they need it.
