NHS Charities Together is the national charity for the NHS, here for everyone who uses and works in the NHS - now and for generations to come.
Working with a network of over 230 local and specialist NHS charities across the UK, we’re driving the things that matter to transform the NHS and deliver the best health and care for everyone.
With the scale of the challenges facing healthcare, the NHS can’t do it alone, and we are needed more than ever.
The money raised for NHS Charities Together makes a huge difference for NHS staff, patients and communities.
We make sure that funds, resources and support go where they’re needed most and where they will have the greatest impact.
We have funded hundreds of projects across the UK to help the NHS thrive. We’re there for exhausted NHS staff to help them through the hardest moments. And we’re pushing patient care further to transform lives, as well as supporting community volunteers to make a difference in emergency situations

At present we do not have a volunteering scheme in place at NHS Charities Together. We’d suggest you contact your local NHS charity to ask whether they offer any volunteering opportunities.

Our membership is open to all NHS charities.
We currently provide support to over 230 member NHS charities, covering networking, training, advocacy and our collective voice to help maximise the potential of every NHS charity for the benefit of patients.

We distribute funds to our member NHS charities through our grant scheme. We are unable to provide funds directly to individuals or individual healthcare departments or services.
