Write your will for freeScotland
You can choose to write your Will either in person, over the phone, or via a video call. Unfortunately, Scottish law means Wills are written a little differently, so you can’t do this online just yet.
You can write your Will with Octopus Legacy by calling 020 4525 3605 and quoting “NHS Charities Together” to the operator so you get your Will for free.
What Kind of gift can you leave?
There are three main types of gifts you can leave in your Will:

A residuary gift is made up of whatever’s left after you’ve taken care of your family and friends. It’s up to you whether you give the whole of the residue or just a part of it.

A pecuniary gift is a fixed amount of money which you set aside. This is paid out before the residue of your estate is calculated.
3
A specific gift is a particular valuable item, such as property, shares or jewellery.
